It was a lax weekend

And by that I don't mean relaxed. I mean LACROSSE, baby!! We now have three of the six monkeys playing. I hate to admit it, but I've gone from being last year's worrisome protective momma to full out HOOWAH fan. I remember One's first game last year. I was poking my husband the whole game with, "Did you see THAT?!??", "Is that legal?", "You mean he can do that to my CHILD??!!?", "He needs more pads!!!". What a difference a year makes. We had a great time Saturday at both games. First up was Two and Three's game. Their debut into the lax world. They loved every minute of it. Every. Minute. Here is Two at the start of the game. He was crazy excited. He and Three did a great job.

Here he is scrambling with almost two teams worth of U-9 players for the ball. (lol)

Then Three was put in. Look out world! At this point I start to notice the other moms who are in the same place I was last year-- poor dears. Except their faces don't look quite as green.

And a quick look just prior to him scoring.... EEEEERAAAAH!! (I live around waaay too many Marines.)

They both did an outstanding job. Great game boys!

After their game, we headed over to One's game. Again, great fun. Last year One chose to be what his coach dubbed as "big ugly defender". Ironic because One was neither big or aggressive-- until this year.

He was all over it. I've never seen the kid play like this. It was a great way to spend a Saturday.
