March for LIFE

Last year when we were in VA, we were able to make the March for Life in D.C.  It was amazing.   Folks from all over, gathered for the babies.  All those innocent babes... My children were quite moved; we'll never forget it.   The day was cold and cloudy for the most part... until the very end, when the clouds lifted, the sun came out and a HUGE rainbow, right behind the Capitol appeared.

It was a sign of hope for everyone that day.   For our family, each new life is a sign of hope.  It is our prayer that one day, our entire country is able to recognize this truth as well.

There's been a new video circling the blogosphere as of late that I'd like to share with you all that is very appropriate for today:

It's kinda catchy...

As pointed out by a friend, "It's a beautiful name... for a boy, or a girl."

My Poor Neglected lil' ol' blog...

Welp, I missed blogging most of our Advent and Christmas events.  All went very well, even though I was rather bahumbugish--(except for the very day, 'cause it's impossible to be bahumbuggish when celebrating the birth of our Savior).  At first I couldn't put my arms around the problem.  I thought perhaps the move threw me off kilter.  Buuut, then as I became increasingly nauseous at even the thought of a peppermint mocha, (yes, perish the thought!) I knew something was awry.  Tests confirmed it, and yes, we've gotta precious, beautiful bun in the ol' oven.  (emphasis on "ol")

We're beyond thrilled and feel extremely blessed that God has allowed for this in our lives again.  The monkeys and princess are also BEYOND excited, to say the least.

I'm coming up on the end of the first trimester, so my belly and mood are starting to feel a bit better and I hope to get back to blogging on a more regular basis.

Umm..., okay, and for the record, the pic above is not our baby, but one that looks just like it.  I couldn't get our scanner to work, so I found a picture that looks juuuust like the one I have here at the house, so pretend this one's ours.
