Missoula Children's Theatre is here!

One, Two and Three have been busy, busy, busy with this wonderful little group that pulled into town to help the kiddos on base put on a fun rendition of Robinson Crusoe.   At the end of the day, the monkey's  little thespian faces were lit with excitement when sharing with Dad what their part would be in the play.

We have "Wilson"-- a goat, played by One.
A "Scary-faced Tribesman" played by Two.  (hmm...this should be interesting)
and, last but not least a "Chameleon" (had to look that up to spell it right..) played by Three.

They all have ONE week to get it all together for the performance on Friday.  'May the Force be with them...'

Here are a few pics from the try outs yesterday.. overall pretty lame, buuuut if you only knew the movement (or lack there of) and lighting challenges I faced, I'm sure you'd be much more impressed.

The auditions comprised of  sitting....

Oh, lots of sitting...  (the expressions are priceless, aren't they?-- I promise, they really were excited at the end of the day, really.  Hey, maybe the key word here is 'end'..)

Aaaand don't just think they sat around to get their parts.  Heavens no!  They stood too..

I can't wait to see what all this sitting and standing finally turns into... stay tuned, it should be interesting.
